Why IntoTheBlueCoffee?

I've spent the better part of five decades in Lake Tahoe—growing up here, born at Barton, and always finding my way back after time off the hill. Like a lot of locals, Tahoe isn’t just a resort destination to call home—it’s part of who I am.

Some of you may know me from around town—maybe as your UPS driver, maybe from school days, from Warrior to Viking. Or maybe you just know of me. That’s the thing about this place—it’s a small town at heart. We’re all connected. There’s a rhythm to life here that never really leaves you. Mornings start with the deep cobalt blue of the lake, crisp mountain air, and endless bluebird skies—and no matter how many years go by, it still hits the same.

That’s where the name comes from. Into The Blue Coffee is inspired by those mornings—the cobalt waters of Tahoe and the wide-open sky overhead. It’s about stepping into that feeling every day, whether you’re standing on the shore or miles away wishing you were.

In this solar system, I’m proud to have one son pushing the future of energy at Tesla, while his brother serves on active duty in the U.S. Army.
