Why Into The Blue Coffee?  I’ve spent the better part of five decades in Lake Tahoe—growing up here as a kid, born at Barton, and always finding my way back after some time off the hill.  Like a lot of locals, Tahoe isn’t just where I call home—it’s part of who I am.
Some of you may know me from around town—maybe as your UPS driver, maybe from back in the day, elementary to high school(s)…from Warrior to Viking, yeah those were some days!  Or maybe you just know of me.  That’s the thing about this place, it’s a small town at heart. We’re all connected in one way or another.  There’s a rhythm to life here that never really leaves you. Waking up in the morning to the deep cobalt blue of the lake, the crisp mountain air, and those wide-open bluebird skies—it still hits the same, no matter how many years go by.

That’s where the name comes from.  Into the Blue Coffee is inspired by those mornings—the cobalt blue waters of Tahoe and the endless bluebird skies overhead. It’s about stepping into that feeling every day, whether you’re standing on the shore or miles away wishing you were.  In this solar system, I am proud to have one son pushing the future of cell energy at Tesla, while his brother serves on active duty in the U.S. Army,
